2016-17 IN-CLASS ENRICHMENT
In-class enrichment needs your support!
Albany elementary schools depend on parents to provide additional funding to give kids the extras that our financially strapped school district can’t afford. Extra enrichment refers to programs not paid for with Cornell PTA Memberships and Fundraisers. These programs are offered during the school day, and include:
- Puberty Education
The In-Class Enrichment Committee (formerly AEGC Committee) is a joint effort of the three Albany Elementary PTAs. Its fundraising campaign enables Cornell, Marin, and Ocean View schools to pay for specialists to teach these valuable enrichment subjects over and above what each of our individual PTAs can pay for.
The suggested donation is $75 per child, but any amount is very much appreciated! Please consider donating more to help students in need. Contributions made by October 15th each year determine how long our children will receive in-class enrichment for the current school year. Contributions made after October 15th will go towards enrichment programs for the following school year.
